We have received a message from Yuliya Nikitenko which she would like to share with all her fans and friends. Yuliya's career spans many years and it is full of fantastic achievements including Blackpool finals in Amateur Rising Star Latin, and finals and semifinals in various international competitions. In life as we experience new beginnings and fresh starts it is always important to know when something has reached its end. I would like to announce my retirement from competitive dancing. Since the first day when I got on that floor at 4 years old I have loved, lived and breathed it for 23 years and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I have made so many beautiful and amazing memories and I will cherish every one of them.
I wanted to say a huge thank you to my partners that I was fortunate enough to dance with and to my teachers and mentors who shared all those moments with me as I wouldn’t be where I was without you. I will forever be grateful for your care, support, guidance and love over the years.
Im really looking forward continue my love for teaching and instructing and to begin my new chapter as an adjudicator.
